A Met police officer was suspended by the force and later resigned after setting up an OnlyFans account as a side gig.

PC Sam Helena had already been given “words of advice” two years ago for uploading a video on TikTok where she showed off her tongue stud while in full police uniform. Well I guess she completely ignored that advice because she set up a whole OnlyFans page using the moniker Officer Naughty. Sure enough, she’s rocking her police badge in some of her photos and videos.

A Met Police spokesperson told The Mirror:

“We are aware of the account and the officer, who has tendered their resignation, has been suspended. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is investigating.”

The way they see it is that anyone in a position of authority in the public cannot be involved in anything that makes them susceptible to bribery, which I guess OnlyFans falls under. Not to mention bringing the Met ‘into disrepute’ (not that they aren’t already). Imagine she goes to arrest someone and they recognise her as Officer Naughty from OnlyFans? Probably not ideal from the Met’s perspective.

Still, it does seem harsh that Sam would’ve been sacked for gross misconduct if she hadn’t have beat them to it by resigning. How many police officers with sexual and racial offences are still working for the Met? How many corrupt police officers just get hidden away? All Sam was trying to do was make a little extra £££ on the side, that’s all. At least now she’s got more time to run her page, not to mention all the free publicity. Go Sam Go!
