When I woke up this morning, I had no clue that ‘mormon influencer’ was a thing that actually exists. After reading this article in the NY Post, I’m still not sure what it’s all about, but I did learn that Mormon Influencer Swinging Parties are also a thing, and a young lady named Taylor Frankie Paul and her husband are were all about it until recently.
Taylor Frankie Paul, who boasts 3.5 million followers on TikTok, has revealed that she and her husband were “soft swinging” with other Mormon couples. Taylor, 28, cited the swinging behaviours as a reason she and her husband, Tate Paul, are getting divorced:
“The whole group was intimate with each other Tate has made out with several girls and other things, and I’ve made out with all of the husbands and vice versa.
All my dirty secrets are out and I have nothing to hide anymore. We partied, we were intimate with other people.”

“Soft swinging” is basically swinging, except not going “too far”. According to Distractify, Taylor admitted to “going all the way” with one person in their friend group without husband Tate’s approval.
The real shocker in all this is that it seems the Mormon community is having more fun than the rest of us? Yeah OK they may not be allowed to consume drugs, alcohol, cigarettes or even coffee or tea, but they’re all keeping fit and hooking up with each other while the rest of get fat and battle hangovers all day.

It looks as though these swinger parties were quite a test of Taylor & Tate’s relationship though, and so here we are. Can’t help but think Taylor was swinging a little less “softly” than her husband which I guess is always the risk you take with this sort of mutual agreement where you get to cheat on each other. Commiserations/good luck on the divorce! Let’s hope they can both move on to bigger and better things.
