We’ve talked about this weird gimp guy that’s been going around terrorising locals in Somerset by walking around on his own in costume in the middle of the night and now another weird gimp guy has decided to speak out about how he’s ruining everything for the wider gimp community in general.

‘The Gimp Man Of Essex’ is a local celebrity in Colchester where he can sometimes be seen shopping in Tesco wearing his black latex costume. People often pose for photographs with him and he’s generally seen as a harmless guy trying to promote gimp culture.

That’s why he’s so outraged by what this other weirdo is doing over in Somerset:

This guy has undone everything the gimp community is trying to do. It gives us all a bad rep.

Jumping out on women, however you’re dressed, isn’t right. There are innocent guys like me who go out on walks in their gimp suits. This guy is hiding around in the dark at night and scaring people lifeless. That’s different.

I wouldn’t be surprised if alcohol or drugs were involved. They are asking for trouble terrorising people like that late at night.

I suppose the guy has a point there? Although I’m not sure if what ‘The Gimp Man Of Essex’ is actually doing in trying to normalise the gimp community is actually achieving what it seems he thinks that it’s achieving. People still think he’s a weirdo and are just getting pictures with him because it’s so freaky right? He’s not really normalising anything, although fair play for trying I suppose.

I do think that’s he’s perfectly right in his criticism of the Somerset gimp though because that guy is clearly an even bigger weirdo and gets off on scaring people and creeping them out and that’s never cool behaviour (unless maybe in a controlled environment like a horror movie of Halloween scare maze). Still can’t believe that the police haven’t been able to catch him or anything yet? Can’t actually be that hard to find the only gimp in Somerset can it? Get your act together.
