Coronation Street legend Michelle Keegan is being tipped for the big time after landing on Hollywood’s radar with ‘Fool Me Once’ on Netflix, and there’s even shouts for her to be the next Bond girl.
In the show, Keegan plays an ex-soldier who is grieving her dead husband and ends up seeing him on the nanny cam she installs in her daughter’s bedroom. Apparently Keegan is so good (and hot) in her role that Americans now can’t get enough of her.
According to reports, her performance on the show has top names in Hollywood wanting to work with her: “The response to Fool Me Once has been overwhelming. The phone calls and offers have been coming in from Hollywood film executives, it’s different to anything Michelle has experienced before.”
Not bad for a Stockport girl who used to work the make-up counter in Selfridges and was also a check-in girl at Manchester Airport, to now being one of the brightest prospects in TV and film.
What does Keegan herself think about being a future Bond girl? She had this to say about it: “I can’t say I see it but I’ll take that. Ring the producer of Bond and get me in there! Let’s do something about it!”
