I’ve never asked myself what I would do if I had the longest tongue in the world, but I’m fairly certain I wouldn’t think of trying to break the world record for removing blocks from a Jenga tower with it.

That isn’t how the actual person with the world’s longest tongue feels about his special ability though as he felt like it was appropriate for him to break a world record using it and the best one he could come up with was the fastest time for removing five blocks from a Jenga tower. Weird how some people’s brains work isn’t it?

Nick Stoeberl easily smashed the previous record of one minute by completing thee task in 55.526 seconds and said the following about his achievement:

Having a long tongue like mine is a very good social in, it is a good icebreaker. You can bet someone you have the longest tongue in the world, they’ll say ‘no’.

Having a long tongue, I don’t think it necessarily helps my sense of taste. Maybe it makes me eat more, because I have to feed it.

If I get my face dirty while eating I can just lick the food off right there. It’s eco-friendly, no napkins needed.

Being a Guinness World Record holder has changed his life.

I’ve been able to go to different countries and see all different kinds of cultures and hang out with good people and have good food.

It’s very fun and I looked at the books as a kid and so to be in them is just an honour – it’s huge.

Yeah I don’t really understand why he can go to different countries because of his tongue? Are people in say Argentina flying him over there to look at him and his weird tongue? Or maybe in Gabon or Singapore? Doesn’t sound real to me.

Anyway, congratulations to Stoeberl for completing his silly Jenga challenge and also for having the biggest tongue in the world. Hope he has a great weekend.

For more of the same, check out this 18 year old touch her eye with her cray 4 inch tongue. Probably more crazy than using it to play Jenga to be honest.
