So many questions. The main one being – why? What is the motivation for sneaking into a hospital and bottle-feeding a random baby? Did he bring the bottle with him? Or was it a spontaneous move when he saw one laying around?

The internet is speculating that this guy must have a connection to the baby, but judging from this quote by Police Sgt. Paul Parizek, that isn’t the case:

The family, obviously, is very frightened. This is something that would startle any parent.

I think that suggests they have no idea who that guy is?

We don’t know what his true intent was or what he was planning on doing further down the road. We need to get him identified, so we can at least hear his side of the story and have our investigators better understand what was going on.

According to KY3 News, the hospital has since expanded security and increased ID checks so that’s good, but it’s still an absolute nightmare that this could happen in the first place. It could be that this guy is harmless and just wanted to hold and feed a baby because he’s a bit weird. It could be that he’s an expectant father who wants to get some practice in before the big day. Either way, I’m just glad the baby is OK because this could have turned out much worse. Let’s wait and see what the investigation finds.
