Jay Slater Investigator Shares Theory On Katie Price’s ‘Missing’ Husband Lee Andrews

The investigator who worked on the cases of Madeleine McCann and Jay Slater has provided his thoughts on the saga involving Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews; who has been missing for a week now and is feared to have been ‘kidnapped’.

Mark Williams-Thomas has taken a look at the timeline of Lee’s disappearance, which looks like this…

May 12 – Fails to board flight in Dubai after being scheduled to fly to the U.K. to join Katie on Good Morning Britain. He had sent her selfies from the airport.

May 13 – Lee makes “unsettling” FaceTime call to Katie. He’s hooded with his hands tied in an old van, whispering “they’re coming for me” before the phone goes dead.

May 14 – Katie claims Lee is taking time out from social media due to “trolling.”

May 16 – Katie admits she hasn’t heard from Lee in 3 days and is worried that he’s been kidnapped.

May 17 – Lee’s family file a missing person’s report with the British Embassy in Dubai, with CID launching an inquiry

May 18 – The Sun reports that Lee is hiding out in a ‘run-down villa’ in Dubai with a burner phone, and is attempting to ‘ghost’ Katie Price.

May 19 – Katie denies having anything to do with Lee’s disappearance.

May 20 – Katie shares texts Lee’s final texts with The Sun, affirming she has no clue where he is, and still believes (or claims to believe) he has been kidnapped.

Having his say on TikTok (@mwilliamsthomas), Williams-Thomas says: “His hands were tied, not by handcuffs, but he had managed to make a FaceTime call to her and didn’t tell her to phone the police, and he himself didn’t phone the police and didn’t give any more information.

“And since then, apparently, his phone has gone dead, although he has, or someone has, managed to go onto his social media and delete some informational posts that are on there. So that’s slightly strange, isn’t it?”

The former police officer continued: “We then get The Sun newspaper, who basically say, ‘well, we know he’s in a villa, so therefore we know where he is. He’s wanted by Interpol and he’s conned a number of people out of money’.

“And my point here is, well, if The Sun know where he is, tell Interpol and let him get arrested.

“If they aren’t and they haven’t told that and they do know where he is, as they say in their report, then that’s irresponsible.

“You know, he’s wanted. Tell the police where he is and he can get him arrested.”

Well, can’t argue with that really. He also says there’s probably “a lot more to this story”, which I think anyone with a functioning brain can tell you.

He calls Katie Price “incredibly gullible”, adding: “One or more persons are not telling the truth and there is obviously a backstory to why this has all come about.

“Has she just fallen for this person again? There’s no doubt that this will have a huge impact on her mental health and the whole process.

“We could have a potential kidnap, or we could have completely wasting police time or wasting everybody else’s time.

“And there’s certainly an element, of course, if what The Sun is saying is true and he is wanted by Interpol, then he’s a wanted man.”

Whichever way this pans out, it sounds like the guy is completely screwed. Either he’s genuinely been kidnapped or he’s hiding from the police or he’s ghosting Katie Price or they’ve staged the whole thing for attention. Literally every outcome is bad news! What a mess. Let’s see how it plays out in the end…
