Gareth Gates Says Losing Virginity To Katie Price Is His ‘Biggest Regret’
It’s crazy enough that Gareth Gates lost his virginity to Katie Price at 17 years old, but what makes it even crazier was that Katie Price was six months pregnant at the time. Imagine having sex with a 6 months pregnant Katie Price, let alone losing your virginity to her? Talk about jumping in at the deep end!
Gareth Gates was fresh off his Pop Idol coronation in 2002, so I guess Katie Price wasn’t going to let a little thing like being 6 months pregnant stop her from sh@gging the man boy of the hour. As she told James English on his podcast previously:

Almost 25 years later, Katie Price is going up on stage on her ‘Evening With…’ tour and slating Gates, even yelling ‘F*** Gareth Gates’ during her show in his hometown of Bradford last week.
This has reportedly infuriated Gareth Gates, who is now 41 and in a happy relationship with West End star Allana Taylor.
A source said: “Gareth was furious when he saw all the stories last week about Katie mentioning him.
“He knows there is a risk that Katie will bring him up every time she goes on stage and it’s always horrible. It never gets easier.
“He moved on with his life a long time ago and he really wishes Katie would too – rather than using his name for headlines all the time. It really is his biggest regret.”
Gareth Gates initially denied he had been intimate with Katie Price, which is why she’s still so p1ssed off with him all these years later.
He later confessed: “I denied the whole Jordan thing because I was 17, I didn’t want my family to find out about my sex life.
“If I hadn’t lied it wouldn’t have been a big deal, my family, friends and fans wouldn’t have felt as let down I guess.”
In her 2021 book, Harvey and Me, Katie claimed her decision to have sex with Gareth Gates kick-started his career.
She said: “I should have thought, ‘Katie, put it away. You’re pregnant – no one wants you.’
“But then again, hello Gareth Gates! He wanted a bit of Pricey – even when I was six months pregnant.
“He denied losing his virginity to me at first, but once he finally admitted it, wasn’t that when his career started? Anyway, swiftly moving on…”
In fairness to Gareth Gates, if I’d have sex with a 6 months pregnant Katie Price, I’d probably want to keep it quiet too. Then again, if it happened when I was 17, I probably wouldn’t be able to shut up about it. Fair play to him for having the maturity at the time to keep schtum about it, but the truth always comes out eventually.
