A young lady over in Buffalo, NY is under arrest for driving around with a homemade cardboard license plate.

She was spotted by a cop who noticed the vehicle had no front license plate and the homemade one on the back. He pulled her over and discovered the car wasn’t registered and the girl naturally didn’t have insurance.

Amanda Schweickert, 28, has now been charged with possessing a forged instrument, a misdemeanour count of operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and three vehicle and traffic violations.

Pretty great idea, disappointing effort. I’m going to take a wild guess and say Amanda was the greatest when it came to art class back in school. I mean my old fake ID looked more realistic than that numberplate and it was made by a 15 year old. Why not take the time to actually make it look authentic? A good idea in theory but the execution was simply not up to scratch.
