I think your feet are probably one of the most painful places to get tattooed and also one of the most useless as people are barely ever going to see the results anyway, but this guy is saying that it’s all worth it it to have his favourite Nike trainers tattooed on his feet.

44 year old Blazej Ambrozak from Rochdale – why is it always people who should be old enough to know better getting dumb tattoos like this? – has been obsessed with Nike Air Jordans for as long as he can remember, so thought it would definitely be worth visiting tattooist Dean Gunther for an eight hour session to get them permanently inked on his feet. Here’s what he had to say about his decision:

It was a spontaneous decision to get the trainer tattoo, but I really liked the idea because it is different and not something that you see very often.

I love all kinds of Nike trainers, but Jordans are my absolute favourites so I decided that this was the pair that I would base my design on.

It was a very painful experience. The worst part was my toes and my heels, but it was worth the pain as the tattoo looks great.

Luckily, the recovery wasn’t too bad for me either because my feet didn’t swell too much. I was back at work within three days of having the tattoo.

Good for him I guess? I just don’t see why he would want to do that as nobody is ever going to see it really? He says it’s not something that you see very often but for all he knows loads of people could have it done but nobody ever sees them because the tattoos are always covered up by the shoes anyway. Just seems counterproductive really.

For more of the same, check out why you should never get a tattoo during a three day bender. Wise words.
