Drill Rapper DSAVV Escapes Prison For Second Time In A Week, Releases Music Video Mocking Police

Drill rapper Dsavv has the dubious honour of being the first British rapper to record a song while being on the run from police, having escaped from custody for the second time in just a week.

DSAVV, 21, real name Daniel Boakye, fled custody from Lewisham Hospital on Sunday afternoon after police somehow lost track of him in the building.

He had already managed to get away from police custody in West Middlesex Hospital last Tuesday before being arrested 22 miles away on the other side of London less than 24 hours later.

He seems to have successfully evaded capture for a few days this time, and so was feeling cocky enough to put out a track mocking the police while spitting his lyrics next to a news article about his case on the TV:

DSAVV was set to be deported to Ghana in a few months time after he participated in a spree of armed robberies around London and Essex, bagging more than £115,000 by transferring victims’ cryptocurrency into ‘hot wallets’.

He and his accomplices were caught after detectives identified their home addresses from takeaway orders they paid for using stolen bank details. Whoops.

So yeah, obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed and it’s only a matter of time before the police close in (potentially by the time you read this). In fact I’m pretty sure everyone in that room in the clip above is going to jail by the time it’s all said and done.

Given DSAVV is being deported anyway, I guess it makes sense that he’s moving so carelessly? If he wants to stay in the UK he’ll literally be on the run his entire life, and that’s no way to live, is it? May as well have his fun and promote his music before he’s inevitably caught and shipped off back home.
