Employee: Andy Goldstein

Job: Soccer AM co-host

Pressure rating: 7.5/10

Andy had a lot to live up to following Tim Lovejoy’s ten-year stint as the familiar face of irreverent Saturday morning snigger-fest, Soccer AM. The cult show had ingrained itself into match day routine with its off-the-cuff brand of abrasive lad humor – but when ultimate ladette Helen Chamberlain was partnered with Goldstein after Lovejoy had swanned off to do awful cookery telly, even her perky boobies couldn’t save the show from slipping into a lingering decline.

Fans didn’t warm to Andy, mainly because he was about as funny as earache. It came as no shock when he was unceremoniously booted off Soccer AM after just a year on our screens. His replacement – Max Rusden, came in from Bid.tv and looked the seasoned-pro in comparison, which just about tells you how bad Andy really was.

Moyes-factor: Let’s be realistic, Moyes should last considerably longer than one year…. unless that dream I had where he relegated them comes true (there was a street party with bunting and sausage rolls) – in which case he definitely won’t.
