Pastry chef Dominique Ansel — inventor of the cronut (a doughnut-croissant hybrid) — has turned the dessert game on its head once again with this brand new creation — the Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shot. Show me one person who doesn’t want to obliterate one of these bad boys right now. You can’t.

It’s pretty much what it says on the tin — a chocolate chip cookie ‘glass’ filled with a shot of milk. It looks fucking delicious.

But is it a case where the idea is better than the actual execution? Because I’ve been thinking about the best way to eat one of these and I’m not too sure there’s a lot of options. Are you supposed to take the shot of milk first and then eat the cookie? Does the milk soggy the cookie enough to create the illusion of dipping a cookie into milk? If you bite into the cookie while it’s filled with milk does the milk create a mess? We need answers to these questions. Only way I see this working is if these things are small enough to eat in one bite.

Guess we’ll have to test them in real life before we get too excited.
