Rob Rinder Confronted By Youths Yelling ‘Heil Hitler’ After Golders Green Attacks

Rob Rinder AKA Judge Rinder has claimed that a young boy shouted “Heil Hitler” at him on a street in London.

The barrister and TV personality, 47, announced on X that he had been subjected to antisemitic abuse whilst going about his day on Carnaby Street…

He wrote: On Carnaby Street last night, a kid on a bike cycled up, saw it was me, looked friendly at first then offered up his favourite “lyric”: “Heil Hitler.” I wasn’t sure whether to share this. I hadn’t experienced that personally before. The most striking thing: I wasn’t shocked. No threat. No anger. Not a victim. Just: what has he been taught Hatred is learned. We are not defined by it. We answer it by what we teach.

This comes days after the Golders Green attacks in which Essa Suleiman stabbed two Jewish men. He also stabbed a fellow Muslim earlier in the day – but the media seem reluctant to mention that part for some reason.

Rinder has long been an outspoken member of the Jewish community, using his platform to speak out against antisemitism.

He’s also a “proud supporter” of the New Israel Fund and has previously identified himself as a Zionist, saying in a March 2023 interview with Jewish News: “I’ve made clear that I’m a Zionist,” while adding that he believes the term “means many things to many different people”.

Of course, Zionism has massively negative connotations these days and it’s a shame for regular, peace-loving Jews who condemn the atrocities being committed by the Israeli government.

I’m not sure Rob Rinder does himself any favours by identifying himself as a proud Zionist, but of course that’s no reason for him to be subjected to antisemitic outbursts or potentially worse.

Met Chief Mark Rowley has this week suggested that Jews should be given their own police force to protect them from rising antisemitism in the UK.
