Employee Starts MASSIVE Fire At Warehouse After Complaining About Low Pay
A massive six-alarm fire destroyed a 1.2 million-square-foot Kimberly-Clark paper goods warehouse in Ontario, California, this week, set by an employee who filmed himself starting the fire while complaining about low wages.
This absolute lunatic filmed himself sparking the blaze at 12:30am by lighting up large quantities of toilet paper, paper towels, and diapers. The fire was so big it could be seen for miles:

Over 100 firefighters battled the inferno for several hours. While the warehouse’s fire suppression system was active, it failed when the roof collapsed.
All 20 employees inside the building at the time were safely evacuated; no injuries were reported – so that’s good news.
29-year-old Chamel Abdulkarim (below) has now been arrested on arson charges.
In the video, he says: “You may not pay us enough to fcking live, but these btches dirt cheap… There goes your inventory,”
“All you had to do is pay us enough to live. All you had to do was pay us enough to f*cking live.”

Well, he won’t need to worry about having to pay to live where he’s going. Although I’m not sure a lengthy jail term with free food and accommodation is preferable to being underpaid at your sh1tty factory job on the outside world. Then again, maybe it is?
Also, it looks like he didn’t even consider that companies take out insurance on their inventories. He’ll be in his cell thinking he “stuck it” to his employer when in reality he just ruined his own life and also destroyed his co-workers’ livelihoods.
Still, there is something to be said about a man who feels so disposable, frustrated and underappreciated that he would burn down his own workplace. That is just another level of desperation. Just awful all round that it caused him to snap to this degree.
The damage at Kimberley-Clark is estimated at approximately $156 million, and analysts have warned of potential supply disruptions for paper products in the region. Yikes.
