ICE Arrest Iranian General’s Niece Living Her ‘Best Life’ In Los Angeles
The niece and grand-niece of slain Iranian General Qasem Soleimani have been arrested in Los Angeles and had their green cards revoked by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
ICE officers arrested Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, 47, and her daughter, Sarinasadat Hosseiny, 25, at their $740,000 home in LA this weekend.

Apparently the ladies had been celebrating Iranian attacks on American soldiers on their social media profiles, which probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do given their ties to the military command over there.
Afshar had called America the “Great Satan”, praised the new Iranian Supreme Leader, supported the IRGC and posted ‘regime propaganda’ on Instagram.
Afshar had been granted asylum in 2019 and received a green card from the Biden administration in 2021.
Her daughter had already entered the US in 2015 on a student visa and later became a green card holder.

Her (now-deleted) Instagram showed her clubbing in Miami and LA, spending time in Alaska, and partying in Las Vegas.
Just goes to show – if your uncle/grand-uncle is obliterating American troops in Iran, it’s probably best not to show support for said uncle on social media whilst living it up on enemy territory. I know America is supposedly the land of free speech and expression and whatnot, but it’s still not advisable, especially at a time when ICE are keeping busier than ever.
In fact it’s pretty insane that they remained in the U.S. in the first place after everything began kicking off.

For what it’s worth, family members of the late general, including his daughter Narjes Soleimani, have claimed the two women have “no connection whatsoever” to the Soleimani family.
Either way, both women are currently in ICE custody pending formal removal proceedings from the United States. Good thing they had such a good time while they were there because I doubt they’ll be allowed back in for a very long time, if ever.
Meanwhile, Trump is losing the plot over on Truth Social.
