Police Hunt Woman Who ‘Pooed On Shelf’ In Shopping Centre And Just Walked Away

Thames Valley Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to after she (allegedly) pooped on a shelf in The Range store in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

The lady apparently walked into the home, leisure & garden superstore, took a dump on a shelf, and then casually walked back out. Why couldn’t she have used a flowerpot or bucket instead?

Based on the CCTV still, the woman was wearing a pink jacket, a spotted scarf, a red top, and was wheeling a small suitcase.

Investigating officer PC Robert Watson said: ‘We’re looking to identify the individual in this CCTV image, as we believe they may have information that could help our investigation.’

A force spokesperson said: ‘Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of an individual that officers would like to speak to in connection with criminal damage in Banbury.

‘On Wednesday 25 March, at 1.40pm at The Range in Banbury, an offender has defecated on a shelf. They have then left the store.

‘If this person is you, or you recognise who this is, please get in touch with Thames Valley Police, either by making a report online or by calling us on 101, quoting reference 43260146564.’

Now it’s possible this lady could be suffering from some kind of mental health crisis or age-related cognitive issue, in which case it’s a bit sh1tty (pun not intended but intended) to circulate her image like this. On the other hand – she may just be a regular jane who sh@t on the shelf and left. I guess we won’t know for sure until the investigation is concluded.
