Victoria Beckham On Course To Score First UK Solo Number One With 2001 Single

Looks like Brooklyn Beckham’s campaign to take down his parents has completely backfired – with Victoria Beckham set to secure her first UK solo number one following the drama of the past week.

Her 2001 single, “Not Such An Innocent Girl”, has already hit #1 on the iTunes chart in the UK and Ireland.

It could now end up topping the official UK Singles Chart, which incorporates streams from platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music as well as sales. Have a listen below if your ears can handle it:

The song was  Victoria’s first solo single after the Spice Girls, and peaked at #6 in the Charts when it dropped in 2001. In fact Posh is the only Spice Girl without a solo number one single to her name up to this point.

Can you imagine if she finally bags a #1 without even having to lift a finger, and it’s all thanks to son Brooklyn dragging her name through the mud? I mean, that would just go to show powerful the Posh & Becks brand really is. Brooklyn Beckham brought a knife to a gunfight!

I also just found out that Victoria Beckham’s debut album, on which the single appeared, cost £5 million to produce but only sold 54,000 copies in Britain. Which means it only needed £93 a copy to make a profit.

Amazingly, she made a track with MOP too?! WTF?

I’m really sorry you had to listen to that. Time will tell if “Not Such An Innocent Girl” lands at number one. It could even happen as soon as tonight when this week’s official Charts list is released.
