Bam Margera Rips Into Jackass Cast As He Reveals Why He Won’t Film New Stunts

When Johnny Knoxville announced that Jackass 5 would be arriving in June 2026, we were all hoping that Bam Margera would have mended his bridges and agreed to be a part of it.

Sadly that doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen, because Bam is still p1ssed about being left out of Jackass Forever in 2022, which had actually led to Bam suing Knoxville and Paramount for wrongful termination (though he later dropped the case after they settled out of court).

Chatting to TMZ, the 46-year-old admitted: “If you had a laundry list of the chain of horrible events of the two years of Covid that they put me through, spending my own money at an alarming rate for therapists, doctors and treatment and all this only to sit me down and tell me you’re not in the movie and you’re not getting five million dollars… I watch ‘Dateline’ and people kill people for a whole lot less.

“I have a lot of PTSD from it all and just having the title now of ‘ex-Jackass star Bam Margera,’ I have to live with that.

“The humiliation, the abandonment and just the embarrassment of it all, I had to let it go.”

However, it does sound like they are going to include old archived footage of Bam in Jackass 5, even if he’s not interested in linking up with the old crew to film anything new.

He revealed: “They did ask me. They said we’re going to sift through a lot of old footage to try to create something new and I said, ‘Hell yeah, go for it.'”

“Because I remember filming so much crazy s**t that never made it to the movie simply because it was just too long or too gnarly.

“But, I mean, I said yeah. Have at it.”

He reiterated that he doesn’t need to ‘film anything new and I don’t want to’ because he is ‘too hurt by it’.

He said: “I’ve just accepted the fact that I don’t want anything to do with it anymore. Only time will tell, but at this time, I don’t want to do anything.”

Well, that’s fair enough really. Glad he managed to express himself without going off the rails in another classic unhinged Bam rant, and it really does seem like he’s doing a lot better mentally and physically health-wise.

Of course, he has the right to feel hurt with how he was treated during the making of the last film, even if his old co-stars felt they had no other choice. Long story short – they basically told him he needed to be sober for filming or else he wouldn’t be able to stay on. He didn’t, so they had to remove him.

After that, Steve-O arranged a meeting with Bam and the guys where he was basically going to convince them Bam can stay sober and to keep him on in the movie, but Bam didn’t turn up.

Part of us hopes that Bam will still be involved with some fresh footage by the time they wrap up filming. There’s still time for them to work things through, or maybe they’re keeping his involvement a surprise? Wishful thinking probably. We’ll have to wait and see when Jackass 5 drops this summer.
