YouTuber Couple Say They’ve Seen “The Darkest Side Of Humanity” After Abortion Announcement
The YouTuber couple who chose to terminate their unborn baby after finding out it had down syndrome say they’ve seen the “darkest side of humanity” due to how people have been reacting to the news.
Jesse Ridgway AKA McJuggerNuggets and his wife Ashley Ridgway have millions of subscribers on YouTube, and so naturally had to make some content out of the abortion as they had so many fans invested in their pregnancy.
Shockingly, not everyone on the internet was sympathetic. Here’s how the couple are feeling 24 hours after their abortion announcement:

Now I’m sure these two have been on the internet long enough to know that every piece of content you make is going attract some of the most hateful and cynical dregs of society, and especially when that content involves announcing the termination of your down syndrome baby. The hardcore MAGA pro-lifers are going to be all over that every time.
But still, you might expect that even the most ardent pro lifer would sympathise with their choice, especially after all the effort they put into explaining it…

I guess there’s no nuance when it comes to Bible-bashing pro lifers. Although much of the criticism is also because of the conscious decision they took to turn their down syndrome child’s abortion into monetised content on social media. Even we got sh1t for sharing the story on Facebook yesterday, and all we’re trying to do is show you what’s going viral in the world!
Well anyway, the good news is that most of the online world does seem to be supportive of the couple’s decision, but then I guess “thanks for being so nice everyone” isn’t as monetisable as “we’ve seen the darkest side of humanity.” Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
