They’re Still Hard

Although, recently, I was bigging up cats for being able to survive in the wild, and laughing at dogs for their lack of survival skills, at least dogs are still hard. Sure, there are some breeds which are not hard at all, and are basically useless twats. But proper dogs, even friendly ones can be pretty menacing when they need to be.
Take, for instance, a lovely friendly German shepherd. He might be chilled and affectionate all day long, but if you frig with his owner, you will see teeth.
Those teeth and that growl will remind you that you’re dealing with a descendant of an ancient wolf.
