Two Teens Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing & Robbing Aussie Tourist In Thailand
Two teenage ladyboys have been arrested after an Australian tourist was stabbed and robbed of A$6,000 (about 140,000 baht) at a guesthouse in Pattaya, Thailand.
The victim, Alikosh Ghulam, 45, told police he had invited the two suspects, who he believed to be women, to his room for some hanky panky.
However, upon realising they were transgender, an argument broke out and next thing he knew, he had been stabbed with a pair of scissors before the two suspects fled with his cash.

Ghulam first got himself to hospital and then reported the incident to Pattaya police, who tracked the offenders using CCTV to a luxury condo, where they arrested two teenagers, aged 17 and 16. Yikes.

Both teens allegedly admitted to the incident and were charged with armed robbery. Police also seized the cash they had robbed and the pair of scissors they used to stab the man.
Just goes to show – you’ve got to be very careful when living that passport bro life. Especially in a place like Pattaya which already has a bit of a reputation for trouble. I mean, I can think of a few risks that would be inherently attached anytime a 45-year-old man winds up alone with two teenage ladyboys in a guesthouse in Thailand, but you still don’t necessarily expect to be stabbed and robbed.
The Thai government has launched tourism initiatives to attract families and rebrand Pattaya as a safe destination instead of a place where sex tourists get robbed by ladyboys.
Apparently they try this every few years though and it never works out…
