Top Loch Ness Monster Hunter Says Nessie Is Fake After 52 Years Of Searching
If you’re one of those people who would hear about the Loch Ness Monster and roll your eyes thinking “how can people be so gullible?”, then congrats – you’ve been vindicated.
Adrian Shine, a leading Nessie expert with 52 years of experience at the Loch Ness Project, has confessed that he no longer believes the monster exists.

Shine, 76, explained: “The sightings are caused by ship wakes. Here they develop this multi-humped form and that’s what people often see.
“There are other phenomena too — Nessie’s long-necked form is birds on a calm surface.”
Of – if we can help him out here – bin bags full of air caught in a breeze:

He also realised that the loch is too cold and lacking in fish, and was further thrust into doubt when he spent time with a conjurer who studied classic art.
Shine said: “They were all fakes and he showed us the explanations.”
Well, I guess that’s that then. Put Adrian Shine on the Bigfoot case and maybe he can spend another 50 years or so working out that’s not real either.
Fair play to Adrian Shine for leaving us with the truth as he packs it all in because if someone with a beard that impressive tells you that the Loch Ness Monster is real – you’d really got no choice but to believe them.
Still, he did say that he would change his mind again if new evidence emerged and he would be “delighted” if he were wrong.
