Whether you loved him or hated him, there’s absolutely no denying that Keith Flint was a bonafide legend of the 90s music scene and it’s with great sadness today that we bring you news of his death at the age fo 49.

Details at this point are still fairly hazy but it’s understood that police aren’t treating the death as suspicious at this point. An Essex Police spokesman told The Sun Online:

We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at just after 8.10am on Monday.

We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Sad. Don’t really wanna speculate what was going on with him here so I suppose we’ll just wait to hear back from the coroner about just what went down this morning.
