The word ‘hero’ gets thrown around too easily these days. One person we can all agree is a hero though is OnlyFans model Ruby May, who shared a steady stream of NSFW images for her followers despite being forced to undergo brain surgery this month and being hospitalised for five days.

25-year-old Ruby told Jam Press:

I can never bring myself to stop working and I took nudes in the bed in my hospital gown the day after surgery.

The Sydney native had been dealing with dizziness and sharp headaches and was diagnosed with Chiari malformation, a rare condition that occurs when an area of the skull contorts and puts pressure on the spinal column.

Ruby May says she’s made millions on OnlyFans, so it’s no wonder she takes this gig seriously. In fact it was only because of her success on OnlyFans that she was able to pay for the 20,000 AUD (£11,200) surgery, which was a 3-hour procedure at a private hospital.

She’s now been left with this rad scar down the back of her skull:

Ruby says her fans were “mostly concerned” for her well-being, and even advised her (not too forcefully I bet) to take a break from sending them nudes while she recovered in hospital:

They loved the nudes but they told me I needed to take a break from working. It doesn’t feel like work when you love your job.

Or when you’re making millions, I bet! Unreal dedication to the game either way. Although I’ll admit that hospital bed nudes don’t sound like the most appealing prospect in the world. Then again when you’re paying money for a stranger’s nudes on the internet, you’ll probably take what you can get. Here’s wishing Ruby May a speedy recovery and lots more success on OnlyFans. Go Ruby Go!
