Ladakhi, India
The people of Ladakh are conservative and traditional, and their lifestyle is much the same as it was 2,000 years ago. They share their religious beliefs with their Tibetan neighbours and some of their oral traditions and songs are so ancient that they predate Mr Buddha himself.
Their culture is based on mutual support and helping each other as they try to get by in a pretty harsh environment. Also they are amazing at weaving.
