New FIFA Footage Reveals Jude Bellingham Dig After England World Cup Defeat To Argentina
Before slapping that Argentinian sub upside his head, Jude Bellingham had some choice words for the referee in the immediate aftermath of England’s World Cup semi-final defeat.
Here’s the clip via Moroccan referee Ismail Elfath ref cam:
Bellingham shakes Elfath’s hand, telling him: ‘Some shocking ones but all the best.’
Well, not much else he can say really. In fairness to Elfath, he wasn’t as biased towards Argentina as everyone predicted he would be, although he did leave Fernandez unpunished for elbowing Anderson in the first half, and let Messi off when he fouled Spence just before his cross set up the winning goal. Then again, Spence could have made more of it instead popping right back up to his feet.
Not that it matters now because what’s done is done and Argentina were deserved winners on the night. Interestingly, Elfath has officiated three wins for Messi in the MLS also, and never reffed a game that Messi has lost.
