Big Hollywood studio exec room filled with the best and brightest movie makers that side of the big blue Atlantic. Guy at the loaded but not so in tune with modern day cinema end of the table pipes up
with, “Any original ideas?” Silence engulfs the room. After a couple of minutes of banging their Neanderthal heads together, a bright spark among them breaks the silence by suggesting, “Why don’t we go dig out that box of movies that did quite well in the 80/90’s, pick some at random and shit all over them.” A rapturous applause breaks out – and now us – the movie-going public are left to pick up the pieces of these should-have-been aborted cinematic bosh jobs.
