There’s been this weird pressure on the cast of Friends to release statements on Matthew Perry’s passing, but aside from a very measured statement they put out together in the week of his passing, none of the five remaining Friends have spoken out publicly about it.
Fittingly, it looks as though Matt LeBlanc is the first to break his silence, after sharing this touching tribute to Perry on Instagram today:

I mean, that’s pretty much the perfect tribute. Emotional and personal and then ends it with a joke. A lovely way to say goodbye to someone who he spent 10 years working alongside on one of the biggest TV shows in history, and had unbelievable chemistry with.
