A man who snatched a mobile phone from a table at a Mayfair restaurant was followed by his victims into Bond Street station and onto the tube, where he casually began munching an orange while the victims and other passengers tried to convince him to give the phone back. In the end, one man was brave enough to get physical with him and return the phone to its rightful owner:

Respect to that man at the end putting himself at risk to help, and fair play to the couple for following the guy all that way to get their phone back. Could have ended very badly indeed, but I guess they felt it was worth the risk of being stabbed over. Either way, very depressing that someone can just brazenly take your phone like that in the middle of London and think they can get away with it (which they often do). At least the thief got his money’s worth with that orange eh? Surprised he didn’t eat the peel too.
