As per the NY Post, police responded on Monday night to reports of vandalism at a church cemetery on Huckleberry Springs Road. Extensive damage including dig sites and broken headstones were found.

Danny Frazier admitted to destroying some of the property in an attempt to “resurrect his grandmother,” who is buried at the cemetery.

Frazier was arrested and charged with vandalism and criminal trespassing.

I don’t know why, I just have a feeling, but I think drugs MAY have played a part in this story? No mention of it in the article. In the end Frazier was charged with vandalism and criminal trespassing, so at least we know that attempting to resurrect your grandma isn’t a crime in itself. Couldn’t he have just used a Ouija board instead? Probably more chance of it working as well.

Which makes me wonder – what was the resurrection procedure exactly to cause $30k worth of damage? Did he actually try to dig his grandmother up? Was he just smashing up headstones like a lunatic?

Oh well, I suppose we all mourn in different ways. A while back we wrote about a guy who killed his son and then tried to kill himself in order to keep fighting him in the afterlife.
