The dating game can be pretty ruthless, and if you’re not careful you can find yourself sitting across from someone who has no real interest in you other than to string you along and take advantage of your wallet.

One girl got a little bit too cocky in this regard, and shared an Instagram story in the middle of a date, boasting about hustling her third date in a month. Unfortunately for her, the post quickly went viral and was soon spotted by one of her date’s buddies, who promptly text him:

Well it’s not nice to hear a young lady being spoken to like that, but I think it’s fair to say she brought it on herself in this case. I like how she was worried about everyone staring at her in the restaurant but didn’t have the same energy when it came to who might be staring at her IG story. You live and you learn I guess.

Big up the MVP who texted his boy just in time to help him avoid paying the bill and become victim #3 of the month. That’s got to be a Friend of the Year contender right there. Story of a lifetime for those two – good on them.
