Reform UK’s London mayoral candidate, Laila Cunningham, had a rough time attempting to defend Nigel Farage on LBC earlier, although you have to appreciate it’s an impossible task at the moment.
Cunningham’s argument for why Farage was within his rights to not declare the dodgy £5m gift from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne? The Reform leader was merely a “social media influencer ” at the time…

Brutal. I actually feel a bit sorry for her. How are you going to argue that Farage wasn’t politically active when he was literally the leader of Reform at the time, and encouraging people to vote Reform? Fair play to Tom Swarbrick for (respectfully) calling out her BS , but it’s actually mental that she’s trying to make that argument in the first place. The mental gymnastics are insane!
At this point, anything Farage or anyone associated with him says just digs a bigger hole for him and Reform as a whole, so it’s no wonder Farage has since stepped down as Clacton MP to force a by-election (in which he will stand), in order to buy himself some time.
Meanwhile, they better hope the MSM can find some sort of dirt on Count Binface. Thus far, the efforts have been fairly poor.
