Phew, that was close! Can you imagine if Kim Jong-Un had come second or third? Good thing the people of North Korea took the time to head out and vote for the man. Could have easily gone the other way if they hadn’t. Wait, what’s that? There was no one else on the ballot? Kim was the only option they could vote for? Right, that makes sense. What a massive waste of everyone’s time.

For Kim, it’s the first time an election has been held since he inherited power after the death of his father, the equally screwed up Kim Jong Il, in 2011.

“This is an expression of all the service personnel and people’s absolute support and profound trust in supreme leader Kim Jong Un as they single-mindedly remain loyal to him,” said the state-run Korean Central News Agency. What a piss take.
