Johnny Depp And Amber Heard Being Forced To Apologise To Australia Is The Most Awkward Video Ever

For the longest time, Australia has been doing an A+ job in making the rest of the world love them. You don’t even need to have holidayed there to love Australian people, their humour and just generally the way they do things.

Sadly they’ve really let themselves down with this bizarre video they forced Amber Heard and husband Johnny Depp into recording.

Basically, Australia has very strict security laws (fair enough) and you have to declare absolutely every item you take into the country.

Back in April 2015, Amber Heard brought her two dogs into Australia (where Johnny was filming Pirates of the Caribbean V) without declaring them and was charged with illegally smuggling them.

She faced a 10 year prison sentence and up to a $75,000 fine, but was instead made to sit down with her husband and record this super cringe apology video. It’s almost like the Australian authorities have their dogs dangling over a shark-infested pool in front of them or something.

Watch below:

Why not go all in and do an ISIS-style mock execution of Johnny Depp while you’re at it? I mean clearly they want people to know how serious they are about this. OK Amber is probably just happy to be acting in something people are actually going to watch for once but look at Johnny, I don’t think he’s ever been more annoyed and confused in his life. Just a really, really strange thing for Australia to insist that they do. Come on Aussies, clean it up!

Still, nowhere near as bad as the way North Korea are punishing this American uni student right now, after he tried to steal a flag.
