Ian Huntley Is ‘Highly Unlikely To Survive’ Prison Attack But If He Does ‘He Will Be Blind’

We have ourselves an update on child killer Ian Huntley after he was bashed in the head repeatedly with a metal pole at HMP Frankland the other week.

According to reports, Huntley is blind, brain-damaged and likely to die soon, which would probably be his preferred option at this point (and everyone else’s).

The 52-year-old is on life support in critical condition with catastrophic skull injuries after a fellow inmate – 43-year-old triple murderer and rapist Anthony Russell – brutally assaulted him in the prison workshop.

Prison sources suggest the attack followed a brief argument, though some claim Huntley had been “trying to bully” Russell. After the assault, Russell reportedly yelled: “I’ve done it… I’ve killed him!”.

Huntley is not expected to regain consciousness after doctors declared him blind after being repeatedly hit in the head and suffering severe brain trauma.

A source said: ‘It is now looking like he will not pull through, barring a miracle.

‘Huntley never recovered from the battering and never stood much of a chance of doing so. His condition has not really improved since day one despite the best efforts of doctors.

‘It looks like it’s only a matter of time. It could be days, it could be weeks. It is probably for the best. Few people will shed a tear.’

Huntley is serving at least 40 years in HMP Frankland, County Durham for murdering ten-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.

The former school caretaker lured the girls into his home, likely under the pretense of seeing his partner Maxine Carr who was a teaching assistant at their school, and murdered them.

During his stint in prison, Huntley has had boiling water thrown over him and his throat slashed. The latter incident left him needing 21 stitches. I suppose it was only a matter of time before he was attacked again, though it’s actually surprising it took this long.

Fully expect the announcement of his death in the coming days or weeks. Why are they even keeping him on life support at this point?

For the time Ian Huntley said he wanted a sex change so he could move to a nicer prison, click HERE. Was worth a try I guess.
