A large Burmese Python makes a desperate bid for freedom at the evening show of the Hanoi Circus. The huge permanent tent at the northern end of Lenin Park is home to Hanoi’s Central Circus. The Russians introduced circus arts during their time of influence, and the Vietnamese have retained a warm place in their hearts for it.
