Crazy footage out of Indonesia this week as a 35-year-old man was struck by lightning and killed on the pitch during an amateur football game at Siliwangi Stadium in Bandung, West Java.
Reports from local PRFM News state that he was still breathing following the incident and was rushed to hospital, but he sadly died after suffering from intense burns…

Man, the randomness and suddenness at which that can happen is just terrifying. I mean imagine having a kickabout with your friends and suddenly getting blasted with a billion volts of electricity and then dying in hospital without having a single clue what hit you. I know it’s probably because the footage isn’t of the greatest quality, but the poor guy literally looked like he turned into a pile of dust. Just the absolute worst luck imaginable.
RIP Septain Raharja, and thoughts with his friends, families, and teammates who witnessed the tragedy.
