The ‘Fast 8’ Crew Have Picked A Side In The Rock/Vin Diesel Beef

They have spoken.

The other day The Rock shared an Instagram post in which he vented about an actor that wasn’t pulling his weight on the set of ‘Fast 8’. That person turned out to be Vin Diesel.

Well according to production sources that spoke to TMZ, The Rock has been upset with Vin Diesel’s work ethic for a long time, and he ain’t the only one:

We’re told Vin didn’t like Monday 7am calls so production was forced to make the start time 10am to accommodate him.

And the crew felt Vin’s arrogance was out of control, especially because he had a producer title. We’re told he wouldn’t listen to anyone and would goad people, including The Rock, by criticising their acting.

The crew has a vastly different view of The Rock. They say he’s the ultimate professional who is always on time and always nails his scenes. They also say he’s easy to work with.

The Rock also shared this photo of him and the crew REALLY getting on afterwards to rub it in:

My FINAL WEEK of shooting #FastAndFurious. There's no greatness ever achieved alone.. it's always a team effort. We promised an epic prison break out for you guys and we delivered. HUGE THANK YOU to my ohana (family) stunt coordinator JJ Perry and his bad ass fearless stunt team – as well as my cousin and incredible stunt double @samoanstuntman. Thank you team for the willingness to "die hard" and drop your blood & sweat daily for our movie. #MyStuntBrothers #Loco4Life You guys reading this know how much I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT. That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to my set or partner with our production company. And like with any team – that's a family – there's gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it. At the end of the day me and #F8 co-stars all agree on the most important thing: Delivering an incredible movie to the world. #Fast8 #IcemanCometh #FamilyGrowth

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel responded with a touch of weirdness:

A strange situation all in all. You’ve got these two super-masculine movie action heroes throwing passing aggressive digs at each other on social media, and of course everyone’s taking The Rock’s side because he’s the coolest and nicest bloke on the planet. There’s no way Vin Diesel can come out of this beef looking good, is there?

Guess he could always redeem himself by dropping another karaoke video though:
