Druski Calls Out Ray J At 2026 BET Awards For Claiming He Only Had A Few Months To Live Back In January

Back in January this year, R&B singer Ray J claimed he only had months to live, revealing that his heart was functioning at only 25% and had “turned black” due to his heavy drinking and drug abuse over the years.

Well, fast forward to the 2026 BET Awards last night, and Ray J was in the crowd looking fit as a fiddle, and the always-hilarious Druski decided to call him out in front of everybody:

Lol – classic. Now, in fairness to Ray J, he did also claim in his January health update that ‘2027 is a wrap for me’, and we’re still a fair few months away from 2027, so it’s not impossible that he passes away between now and then.

It just doesn’t seem very likely considering he looks fine, hasn’t mentioned his health issues since, and was even boxing at Adin Ross’s Brand Risk last month (where he got knocked out, btw).

So yeah, fair play to Druski for coming out and saying what everyone was thinking. We all knew that one person at school who pretended to have cancer, and then just carried on living until everyone realised they were lying.

I’m not outright saying that Ray J made this all up for attention, but it’s a little hard to believe he’s on death’s door given how he’s been living since. Maybe he received a miracle cure that the rest of us have access to?
