It’s frankly terrifying that the entire Met police still can’t find Clapham chemical attacker Abdul Ezedi despite him walking around London with half his face melted off, but in the meantime we’re receiving more grisly details of the heinous attack he committed.

A witness to the attack has described hearing the sound of a three-year-old being slammed to the ground, and how she thought the child might die in her arms when she ran to her aid.

The last confirmed sighting of Abdul Ezedi was in Tesco on Caledonian Road, N1 at 8.48pm last night. If you see Ezedi, call 999 immediately. He should NOT be approached.

The key witness, who was herself injured in the attack, says she was just settling down to watch EastEnders when she heard shouting outside and left her home to see what was happening. She watched as the suspect jumped from a white car and threw what she believed to be ‘a car seat or a bag’ to the ground. Instead, it turned out to be a three-year-old child.

The witness told BBC News: “The sound, the thud, the scream, that’s when I realised it was a little girl being slammed to the ground, like a WWE wrestling move.”

The witness said that two other men were on the scene and trying to pin down Abdul Ezedi, so she picked up the three-year-old and carried her to a hotel where her sister and ‘hysterical’ mother were being helped.

She added: “When I picked her up – the youngest child – she was trying to go to sleep. I knew from watching 24 Hours in A&E that the best thing to do for head injuries is to place somebody into the recovery position, so that’s what I did. But before I did, she just went limp. I thought the youngest of the two girls was about to die in my arms. Luckily the three-year-old woke up and started to call for her mum.”

The hunt for Abdul Ezedi has now entered its 5th day, with a timeline of events compiled below:

A 31-year-old mum and her two daughters are believed to have been the initial targets, with Ezedi travelling from Newcastle to launch his attack on them. In the end, he ended up injury 12 people while carrying out the alkali attack.

The good news is that the Met has said that the two girls’ injuries were not ‘as serious as first thought’, although their mum remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition. Let’s hope this scumbag is caught as soon as possible, and that his facial injuries have picked up a nasty infection, and that he’ll be going to a prison where other inmates will be fully aware of who he is and what he did. Alternatively, it’s very possible that he’s already put himself out of his misery, in which case there’s a body waiting to be found somewhere.

A £20,000 reward is in place for anyone who has information that leads to the arrest of Ezedi.
