Britain’s Youngest Self-Made Billionaire Is Moving Back To Britain So He Can Donate ‘Millions More’ To Reform UK
Britain’s youngest self-made billionaire is really keen for Nigel Farage to become Prime Minister in 2029. So keen that he’s moving back to the UK from Hong Kong specifically to bypass a new £100,000 cap on overseas political donations.
Ben Delo, 42, co-founder of the cryptocurrency platform BitMEX, plans to donate “millions more” to Reform UK to help Farage build a “war chest” for the next general election.
Delo is moving to remain a UK-domiciled donor, allowing him to legally exceed the government’s new £100,000 limit on donations from Britons living abroad.

He accused Keir Starmer and the Labour government of trying to “stack the political deck” and create a “rigged game” against opposition parties by limiting expat funding.
Delo, who got rich from crypto and now has a net worth of £1 billion, already donated £4 million to Reform earlier this year before the new legislation was introduced.
No doubt the extra millions will come in very handy for Farage and Reform, who have lost some of the hype to Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain in recent months. It wasn’t that long ago that Farage seemed a shoe-in to become the next PM, but it seems Lowe has out-right-winged him and taken a chunk of the potential voter base.

Now, you would think billionaires would know how to make good investments, which make you wonder – what does Ben Delo have to gain from Reform coming into power? Surely he’s not just doing it out of the goodness of his own heart? I don’t care how much money someone has; if you’re donating that many millions to a political party, you’re expecting some kind of return.
Who knows? Maybe he just really believes in Farage’s vision for the UK. Until then he’ll have to hang tight to see if he gets his money’s worth.
