Today in Saudi sports, Ex-Liverpool star Fabinho was gifted a Rolex by an Al-Ittihad supporter after his Saudi Pro League debut.
Which means he was either really impressive or the average Saudi just hands out Rolexes to footballers like sweets…

Just too bad Fabinho managed to drop the watch on the floor immediately afterwards, but he must’ve felt pretty flustered to be fair. I mean, you would understand if a Saudi football fan walked up to Messi or Ronaldo and handed them a Rolex, but this is Fabinho we’re talking about. Great player, but even he was shocked by this very expensive gesture. Did he ever get anything more than a hug from a Liverpool fan?
Imagine if Messi actually went to the Saudi league instead of MLS? This same fan would have probably given him the keys to his own palace and a private jet by now. Just outrageously obscene amounts of money. No wonder so many footballers are heading over there for the payday.
