The Odyssey Viewers Left ‘Disturbed’ By Jump Scare Horror Movie Trailer Shown Before The Film
I’m not sure who decided to air the trailer for new horror movie ‘Other Mommy’ before The Odyssey, but movie-goers seem to be in agreement that this person is a complete knob for not including some kind of trigger warning.
Surely it can’t be that scary, can it? Well, see for yourself…

The film follows a young girl who is threatened by a sinister demon that looks exactly like her mother.

That was pretty freaky, to be fair. Imagine you’re just settling down in your seat expecting to enjoy the Odyssey, and out of nowhere you get Jessica Chastain crawling on all fours under the table like a demon. Obviously it’s not as quite as terrifying when you watch it on your phone or laptop, but in the cinema when you don’t know it’s coming? You’d poop your pants! No wonder so many people are complaining.

I think that’s what you call a successful marketing campaign. Imagine how much the studio paid to have that air before The Odyssey? Will be worth every penny I bet.
