What a guy. He literally talked about everyone except the guy he was filming an RIP video for. It’s like he’s thinking about his own future death because the death of a colleague has made him ponder it, and he’s eulogising himself instead of the person that actually died.
In fairness, he is pushing 70 and I guess people that age do tend to ramble on a bit. Although they don’t really post their ramblings on social media behind the façade of a eulogy for someone else. He clearly didn’t script any of it and was going completely off the cuff – got to give him that at least.
It does explain why his Trump impression on SNL is so good though. They’ve both got that narcissistic style of rambling and bragging about themselves. It all makes sense now…
