Bungee Workers ‘Can’t Remember’ Who Was Supposed To Attach Safety Cord Before Model Plunged To Her Death
The three morons who launched a 21-year-old woman to her death after forgetting to attach the safety rope to her bungee harness are claiming a memory lapse as they face questions from investigators.
Maicon Fernandes Cintra, 42, Luis Felipe Feliciano Egoroff, 32, and Vitor de Freitas Gonçalves, 27, have been remanded in custody following the horrific death of Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, who was thrown 130 feet from Skeleton Bridge (Ponte do Esqueleto) in Limeira, São Paulo, Brazil.

The trio, who say they earn just £26.50 per jump, told police that they didn’t have set responsibilities during the jumps, and equipment checks were carried out ‘jointly.’
Asked who was responsible for the final safety checks for Maria Eduarda’s jump, all three men answered: ‘I can’t remember.’
Their lawyer Rafael Gomes dos Santos claimed overnight: ‘They are in a state of shock. They cannot explain what happened because they have been doing this for years. Nothing like this has ever happened.’
Maria Eduarda’s grieving mum, Valdenia, posted the following online after her daughter’s funeral:
‘That damned rope took you away from me forever. My beloved daughter, you are gone and all that remains here is pain and longing. I will love you forever.’
Maria herself had posted just before the tragic accident: ‘Who was the crazy person who let me jump off a bridge?’
Horrified onlookers shouted warnings before the fall, and witnesses reported massive confusion and panic among the staff, claiming workers tried to flee or change clothes before police arrived.
The company’s Instagram page, which advertised ‘a jump to the extraordinary,’ has since been taken down. It turns out the group didn’t even have authorisation or legal regulation to conduct extreme sports at that bridge. Which suggests everyone involved in the company could be in a world of trouble, not just the three useless buffoons who killed Maria.
