The Official Met Police Estimate Of The Unite The Kingdom Rally Was 60,000 – Tommy Insists ‘Millions’

The ‘Unite The Kingdom’ rally has come and gone for another year, with Tommy Robinson insisting that ‘millions’ turned up to march in London on Saturday…

Now that’s definitely a fvckton of people, but millions? It’s hard to say. Before the march, Tommy had asked followers for money to hire a helicopter for aerial footage so that nobody could “lie about the numbers”. Was the helicopter booked? Would be good to see that footage to get a better idea of how many thousands/millions were there.

In the meantime, the official estimate from the Met Police (using their own helicopter and CCTV images) was approximately 60,000 people. This turnout would be lower than the previous rally in September 2025, which drew an estimated 150,000 people (Tommy claimed it was 3 million at the time).

Still, Tommy is insisting it was the biggest event in British people and that millions turned up. Let’s really think about it though; if three million people attended the Unite The Kingdom rally, that’s about a third of the population of London, or around one in 25 Brits. I guess it’s possible, given that people from all around the UK (and even abroad) travelled to London for the rally, but again, it’s hard to say from the images available.

Annoyingly, there are a bunch of people on social media (Americans in particular) being duped with false images of the turnout…

Turns out this is actually footage from a Shakira concert in Rio de Janeiro. It’s not even f’n England! Whoops.

Well anyway, it’s anyone’s guess what the real numbers were. Some will say the media and government are downplaying the attendance to make Tommy’s movement look ineffective, and others will say that Tommy is bloating it to make out the day was a bigger success than what it was.

One thing’s for sure – they need to do better on the celebrity/performer front next time. Tamer Hassan on Zoom? A complete butchering of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’? Come on now…
