Drug Dealer Jailed After Filming Himself Doing 119MPH While Already Banned From Driving
A drug dealer who filmed himself doing 119mph while already banned from driving has been jailed for three years and nine months.
John Scott, 36, from Breckland, Norfolk, filmed his speedometer hitting 119 mph while driving along a single-carriageway country road, and baited himself up in the process.
He was already serving a five-year driving ban handed down in December 2024. He was shirtless and smoking with his music on full blast, so you just know he felt really f’n cool…

Scott was initially arrested by officers who recognised him as a wanted individual in connection with drug dealing.
Sure enough, upon seizing his mobile phone, police discovered data linking him to cocaine distribution across the Breckland area, as well as multiple videos of him speeding while already banned.
So in addition to being busted for drug dealing, Scott also provided police with all the evidence they needed to charge him with dangerous driving because he was dense enough to film his own crimes.
Still, at least he didn’t post the clips on social media – gotta give him credit for that much at least.

In the end, Scott pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession of cannabis and dangerous driving.
He has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison, and received a 10-year driving ban. Not sure that’s going to stop him tbh, but he’s got a few years to think about it at least.
