Adam Thomas Breaks Down In Tears About I’m A Celeb Live Final: ‘I Will Live With This For The Rest Of My Life’
Just a week after Adam Thomas broke down crying on a podcast over how he had entered therapy due to David Haye bullying him, the Emmerdale actor is in tears again as he re-lived the events of the I’m A Celebrity live final.
To recap: All hell broke loose on the live final of the programme last Friday, with David Haye and Jimmy Bullard confronting Adam Thomas live on air. They basically accused him of being “abusive, aggressive, and intimidating” on the show rather than the other way around.
It completely ruined Adam Thomas’s big moment, and he looked completely upset and dejected while being crowned I’m A Celeb winner.

This week, Thomas has again appeared on the At Home With the Thomas Bros podcast, which he hosts with his brothers Ryan and Scott, and said: “It’s so difficult because even when I got out and I explained what I went through, you guys, my friends, you won’t understand what I went through.
“The fact that it’s been turned into entertainment for live television, for a show, for a family show that I loved. I’ve got so much to thank this show for, ten years ago this show put me on the map.
“Even after the live show and everything that happened, I still can’t escape it. I’m on Instagram and TikTok, just the algorithm and everyone talking about it, everyone saying their bit and how they saw it.”
He explained that he is ‘tired’ and wants it ‘all to go away’ so he can be forgotten about.
“The sad truth is that everyone will go on with their lives but for me, this will be in me the rest of my life. This is part of my DNA now, it’s made me the person that I am.
“It’s hard because right now I can’t see any light, I can’t see the positive in it.”
He added that he felt he had been ‘exploited’, saying: “I think you can see it at the end of it, I felt like I was just in the midst of it all and it wasn’t even about me.”
Man, you have to feel sorry for the guy, but is he maybe overreacting just a tad? I mean, yeah, everyone’s talking about it now, but in a year from now I can guarantee you no one will give a sh1t. There’ll have been a new series of I’m A Celeb with new heroes and villains and victims and then everyone will move on from that too.
In the meantime, it’s probably a good idea for him to stay off TikTok and Instagram unless he wants to block out certain key words (e.g. his own name) and turn off notifications for every time he’s tagged. It is summer after all – maybe what he needs is a nice holiday away from it all.
Furthermore, don’t chat about it any more on podcasts because that’s only going to give people more ammunition and content to work with. Word to the wise.
Meanwhile, David Haye is planning to sue ITV for £10 million over how he was portrayed on the show. A crazy year for the show indeed.
