Jasveen Sangha AKA The Ketamine Queen Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison Over Matthew Perry’s Death
The Hollywood drug dealer who sold the ketamine that killed actor Matthew Perry has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
British-American national Jasveen Sangha, 42, supplied 51 vials of ketamine to Matthew Perry’s assistant in the weeks before his overdose on October 23, 2023.
She had been running a “stash house” in north Hollywood since 2019, marketing herself as the ‘Ketamine Queen’ to Hollywood clients. Raids on the property uncovered huge quantities of ketamine, meth, MDMA, counterfeit pills, scales, cash, etc.

Sangha kept selling drugs even after Perry’s death, knowing full well she had sold him the ketamine. She deleted text messages and tried to cover her tracks, but kept the operation running.
Sangha pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of ketamine distribution, and one count of distribution resulting in death.
Her 15-year sentence also accounts for a separate 2019 overdose death of Cody McLaury, to whom Sangha had also sold ketamine, and kept operating even after the man’s sister texted her about it.
In court, obviously, Sangha found her remorse, stating she was “deeply ashamed” of her “horrible decisions”.
A lot of people will argue that Matthew Perry and Cody McLaury were grown men who could make their own decisions and were fully aware of the risks of taking ketamine. They died because they were drug users, not because Sangha was a drug dealer. In Perry’s case, he took a load of ketamine and then decided to take a relaxing nap in the bath.
Still, we do have to hold drug dealers accountable for distributing the illegal product that creates addicts, keeps them hooked and results in death, don’t we? That doesn’t necessarily mean letting the addict of the hook.
15 years though? Some might say that’s a little harsh. I think that probably has to do with the fact she kept selling drugs for years after knowingly contributing to a previous OD in 2019. Prosecutors were able to argue she felt no remorse, so the judge could go extra hard on her.
What’s crazy to think about is that Sangha would still be out there selling ketamine if Matthew Perry wasn’t a famous person on a hit sitcom in the 90s. Some addict lives matter more than others, clearly.
For the time comedian Hans Kim went viral for making a controversial joke about Matthew Perry shortly after he did, click HERE. Have to admit – that was funny.
